🗓️ October 24th | 🕐 13:00
📍 Punto de Encuentro, Josefstrasse 102, Zürich (1st floor)
Join us for a 4-hour workshop for musicians of all instruments and levels
Together, we’ll explore two of the most representative rhythms of Argentine folklore - Chacarera and Zamba - combining technical insights with hands-on practice. We’ll then put it all into action by playing popular songs together in an ensemble.
🎶 Workshop contents:
- Body-based rhythmic exercises
- Listening to traditional folklore recordings
- Basic analysis of musical forms
- Group playing and ensemble practice
📚 Workshop materials will be sent to participants in advance.
📩 Registration: Send an email to pce.zuerich@gmail.com by October 22nd.
🌙 And the evening continues at Punto!
After the workshop, stay with us for a special evening concert. At 20:00, Santiago Arias & Sebastián Castro will take the stage with their duo project Arias Castro, bringing the sounds and folk traditions of northwestern Argentina to Punto.
🎵 Workshop by day, live folklore by night - come for both!

Yep, it's that time of year again. Spooky Socializing season!! Very scary, I know. But luckily there's an event where you can socialize with just the interesting people (improv enthusiasts) and skip the scary/boring people.
No, it's not an improv show, and it's not a jam either. It's a chance to get to know your fellow improv nerds and hang out together. FREE to join, no tickets needed.
